With companies increasingly moving towards Corporate Social Responsibility due to the benefits it presents, it is important to constantly investigate any challenges or barriers that could hinder or delay the implementation of CSR that could have a negative impact on the company’s image and its stakeholders. The aim of this study was to investigate the challenges that are encountered when implementing CSR projects which deals mainly with personal and workplace experiences of individuals within the South African Telecoms companies, specifically Amdocs South Africa. Amdocs South Africa is a Black Economic Empowerment compliant subsidiary with a mission to become the System integrator of choice in the Telecommunication and financial services sectors in the African region. This research paper is explorative in nature and it explores the influences that which CSR challenges may have on the implementation of CSR. A Qualitative data was developed and collected through telephonic interviews. The results of this study show that the respondents have different perspectives of their company in how all aspects of CSR are carried out by the company. Taken together, these results are consistent with the researchers’ expectations that Stakeholders are the centre of CSR.en_US
